A. The 70-620 test is appropriate for you if you are working or want to work in a typically complex computing environment of medium-to-large organizations. There are no specific prerequisites for this test, although it is recommended that you should have at least one year of experience in implementing and administering any desktop operating system in a network environment. You are supposed to have experience in resolving issues concerning network connectivity, desktop operating systems, security, and applications. You should be comfortable in addressing logon problems, performing password resets, and resolving most issues with desktop applications.

A. Microsoft’s 70-620 exam is
designed to measure your ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot Windows Vista as a desktop operating system in any network environment, particularly medium to very large computing environments. Upon passing this test, you will be provided the following certification:

Note: Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technicians (MCDST) can use Exam 70-621: PRO: Upgrading Your MCDST Certification to MCITP Enterprise Support as credit for certifications that list Exam 70-620 as a required or elective exam.
Q. How many questions are asked in the 70-620 exam?
A. You will be required to attempt approximately 50 questions.
Q. What is the duration of the 70-620 exam?
A. Users are required to attempt all questions in 120 minutes.
Q. Which type of the 70-620 exam is it? (Adaptive/Linear)
A. The 70-620 test consists of Multiple Choice, Hot Area, Drag and Drop, Build list and reorder, and Build a Tree questions. The test is linear right now but it can be adaptive, and simulation questions might be asked. There are no Case study type questions in this test.
Q. What is the passing score?
A. In order to pass the exam, you need a score of 700 out of 1000.
Q. What is the exam retake policy?
A. If you do not pass test 70-620 the first time, you may retake it at any time. If you do not achieve a passing score the second time, you must wait at least 14 days to retake the test a third time. A 14-day waiting period will be imposed for all subsequent exam retakes. If you have passed an exam, you cannot take it again.

A.Microsoft exams may be taken at Prometric testing facilities.
